The Zappos.com Las Vegas Half Marathon

All The Excitement, Half The Distance! 

On December 07, 2008, the third annual Zappos.com Las Vegas Half Marathon will take place in conjunction with the Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon.  Race organizers Devine Sports rallied the support of Clark County, Nevada and the City of Las Vegas for this Half Marathon on a course that will run the electrifying neon corridor of the world famous Las Vegas Strip and the Fremont Street Experience.

The race will begin in the dawn’s early light with an explosion of fireworks marking the historic start of the first Las Vegas Half Marathon.    The Half Marathon was added to the Marathon in response to the #1 request leading up to the 2005 year’s inaugural race.  The race will be capped at just 10,000 participants. So if you want to be part of all the excitement at half the distance, register now before the cap is reached. 

If you live in the Las Vegas area, you may want to take advantage of the low-cost Las Vegas Roadrunners training program, which can take you from the couch to the Finish Line of either the Half Marathon or Marathon.
